CNC Vertical Milling, Engraving & Glass Bead Blasting of a 6061 Aluminum Bracket For The Printing Feeder Industry


bracketsHere is an example of a couple of CNC machined brackets that are used in the printing feeder industry. We use a combination of sawing, milling, drilling, tapping, engraving, and glass bead blasting to manufacture these aluminum brackets. 

We hold a tolerance of +/- .003, and each bracket receives a clear anodized finish. Upon completion, the components measured ½" in thickness, 1-½" to 5" in width, weighed between ¼ and 3-½ pounds, and featured a surface roughness of 63 RA. Before delivery, each of the brackets were wrapped for protection and boxed. Typical lead time for these parts is approximately 4 weeks.
